October 20, 2001 - Ultra Sonix Records presents another concert in the 2001 coffee house series.  5000 FED is poised to play their original music, some praise and worship, and some popular songs at Soul Centre Cafe.  The Soul Centre Caf is located in the Grand Central Plaza, 2035 28th Street SE. Enter the parking lot, pass between the buildings and park in back.

October 5, 2001 - Kent City Baptist Church invites 5000 FED to play at their post-football game Victory Party.

September 22, 2001 - Get out the red pens!  Tell your mothers!  Post this one on the refrigerator.  Its official!  Co sponsored by the Youth Group of Kent City Baptist Church, the first annual Ultra-Fest is coming  Saturday September 22, 2001, from noon until 9:00 pm.  There will be a $5.00 love offering at the gate.  Featuring local independent artists such as 5000 FED, Chivre, Cue 22, Money Da Mistro, Remember When, Rick Beerhorst, Wayne Weeks.  Bring your blankets, your blankets, and your friends to hear a great concert event and to hear the Truth as shared by Pastor Chris Weeks. 

September 1, 2001 Kicking off Labor Day weekend 5000 FED performed at The Soul Centre Cafe.  If you didn't know about this one, then you need to make sure that you are signed up on our email list. 

July 28, 2001 - A command performance by 5000 FED at Skeletones located on Division near Cherry in downtown Grand Rapids.  Saturday July 28, 2001, from 10:30 pm until 11:30.   This one ROCKED!

June29, 2001 - Join us for a very special event.  Friday June 29, 2001, from 9:00 pm until midnight.  5000 Fed will play a rare acoustic set of their original music combined with Praise and Worship.

June1, 2001 -  Grand Rapids Festival of the Arts showcases many artists in the West Michigan area.  5000 FED appeared on Friday at 5:00.  Cold, damp weather couldn't keep the faithful fans away!  See pictures of this event here.

January 6, 2001 -  5000 FED appeared as special guests for the Snow Camp held by the Kent City Baptist Church Youth Group. on the newly released Compilation CD by Cornerstone University with other local 

October, 2000 -  5000 FED appears on the newly released Compilation CD by Cornerstone University with other local Christian artists such as Quietwiser  and my.boy.sherman.

September, 2000 - Chris Koning accepts the invitation to become the new lead singer for 5000 FED .

Saturday, September 16, 2000 - Ultra-Sonix Records will be sponsoring a free Music Fest at Berean Baptist Church in Grand Rapids.  They are bringing in gifted local artists such as My Boy Sherman, 5000 FED as well as Grand Rapids' Hip-Hop prodigy, Money Da Maestro.  Stop by and support some great local bands.

Friday, August 20, 2000 - Ultra-Sonix Records has signed its first band, 5000 FED. Hailing from Grand Rapids, this multi-talented modern rock band is finishing up its 6 song demo CD which should be available to the public in the summer of 2001.

Friday, June 2, 2000 - 5000 FED will be live onstage at the Festival in Downtown Grand Rapids, MI.  They will be playing at 2:15 PM.  Stop by and support a great local band.
